What Is Your Favorite After-School Workbook For Preschoolers?

If you're a mompreneur or a stay-at-home mom, you might have considered designing a homebased after-school enrichment class for your little one. Like me, you might have realized that you can save a lot by doing so not to mention the additional mom-child bonding time that goes with it.

However, if you're still on the look-out for workbooks that complement your child's schoolwork and are presented in fun, interactive ways, have colorful lay-outs and are available at major bookstores, then, I'd like to suggest three brands worth checking out. Simply click on the titles to be directed to the complete posts.

1.  Kumon Workbooks

2.  Disney School Skills

3.  Scholastic Learning Express  Singapore (Reviews coming soon!)

Like you, I also believe that it's never too early to teach our children about the value of excellence in school and in life. As Aristotle once said, "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then is not an act, but a habit."

Therefore having good grades is not and shouldn't be the end goal. Studying, reviewing and learning even in the absence of tests should be the primary objective. Yes, it is in the daily, mundane episodes in life that true learning is developed.

I guess, this is where the after-school enrichment class is for.
