Review: Suncut UV Protect Cream by Kose

Truth be told, I'm not really a big fan of sunscreens despite their irrefutable health benefits. But Kose's Suncut UV Protect Cream has a mild scent and a not too greasy consistency which pushed me to put it on without regret, even on the hottest days.

What I love about it is that it has a very high Sun Protection Factor (SPF)--50 to be exact, which makes me quite confident that it is really capable of shielding my skin against the ravaging effects of both UVA and UVB rays.

Its pointed tip makes for a convenient way of squeezing out just the right amount of cream I desire.  And as you can see, all I really need is just a tiny squirt to cover my whole face.

If you want your sunscreen to have a more liquidy consistency, then go for the Suncut UV Protect Milk which also boasts of the same SPF as the Suncut UV Protect Cream. Both Kose products weigh around 30 grams and are both sold for HKD 32 or Php 186 each.

  2. Remember to use 1/4 teaspoon of sunscreen for your entire face, or else you won't be getting the protection listed on the bottle.
