Laced with pink balloons everywhere, the event created a fairy tale feel, a distinct trademark of Etude House. Those who attended say that everyone was in high spirits! Excitement filled the air as the princesses sorted through the products and eventually bought the ones which they deemed fit for their skin type and unique needs.
A free pink balloon accompanied every Php 1,000 worth of purchases...
plus some yummy cotton candy on the side.
And of course everyone looked forward to the event's most anticipated portion: a free makeover from professional Korean make-up artists!
During the makeover, Marilou learned a lot about make-up and skin care. She said that before applying make-up, the Koreans prepped her skin by putting on emulsion, toner, moisturizer and sunscreen. She was also advised to put on whitening products although she already has fair skin, just to get rid of dark spots brought about by sun exposure.
After applying sunscreen, the make-up artist put on Blemish Balm or BB cream instead of foundation. To set it, she brushed some powder on Marilou's face instead of using a puff. The artist then proceeded to enhance the rest of Marilou's face by putting on eye shadow, blush, lipstick and eyeliner.
As a memento, Marilou had a photo op with the lovely make-up artists.
She even had her photo taken with the charismatic interpreter who looked like Tak-gu, the main character from the Korean drama, The Baker King.
For the main event, Marilou saved her best shot for her one and only Etude House prince, Lee Min Ho.
What about you? How was your makeover? Would you care to share some of your most favorite moments during the event?
